Designing logos is always more challenging than it seems. A good logo has to convey a lot of information in a very simple and versatile form. There are a myriad of decisions about symbolism, color, lettering, spacing, etc. that need to be made before settling on a final design.
Getting the logo right is so important because a company's logo grows into it's identity naturally. It becomes the crucial first impression, the visual queue that recalls a good experience, the subconscious trigger that separates you from everyone else.
For all these reasons, I really enjoy working with clients to help them develop a logo that accomplishes what they need, and that they really love. This is a collection of some of my favorites.
